Hi there, I’m Loren - the main man behind Stargazer Social Club! After a long career in the corporate world as a project manager, consultant and client relations professional, I decided to take everything I’d learned about creating wonderful experiences for clients and start my own venture in the events world. Although Moab already had a lively destination wedding industry, I realized that there was still so much more that could be done to open this incredible place to the adventurous spirits that want to get married here — in whatever way inspires them. From this realization I set about creating a totally unique offering that would enable upscale, luxurious weddings and celebrations in amazing off-the-grid locations. And so Stargazer Social Club was born.

Growing up in San Diego, I developed a limitless curiosity, passion for nature, and love of exploring my surroundings. That appreciation for beauty and drive to explore brought me and my wife Toni (of Tangled Sage Event Artistry) to Moab in March 2020 right before the start of the pandemic. What was supposed to be a one month vacation turned into a three month stay, and by the end we never wanted to leave. Later that year we became full time Moab residents. I continue to be inspired and awed by the incredible beauty of the Southwest, and I’m thrilled by the possibility of enabling nature lovers to celebrate their most important days with friends and family while immersed in these breathtaking landscapes.
